18 Aug 2026: The Gumma Place crew have been really busy this week with a cultural trip to Brewarrina, visiting the fish traps and Lightening Ridge; watching the Cultural Burning at Scotts; a Pickle Ball Tournament and some serious and very professional welding projects.
This morning Shania did a great job in a Radio 2NVR interview. Variety is definitely the spice of life for our team!
Thanks to all the staff for their continued commitment to excellence in learning.

11 Aug 2026: We love our yarning circle and the opportunities it brings for conversation, connection and belonging for our young people and staff. We certainly couldn’t have designed and built it without the support of others. We especially want to thank the Ubuntu Foundation, Carolyn M Vincent and the Rural Health Research Foundation.
It absolutely takes a village to raise a child and we couldn’t do our work without the support of these organisations. We see the positive impact every single day at ShoreTrack and Gumma Place and the ripple effect of this through families and our community.
Big thanks from all of us

31 Mar 2026: Our days spent with Dennis Milgate, Back to Country Coordinator and Ranger with Gaagal Wanggaan (South Beach) National Park, have given us the chance to step out of our work boots and onto the land, learning from Country and from each other.
